VISION 2020
From the first day we established ourselves as a church, we clearly understood that the church is not a building, but rather a group of people who make up a community of faith. It is for this reason that, from the beginning, we have used the greatest amount of our resources to do the work of the ministry and the least amount possible for the maintenance of a building structure. Because of this ministry philosophy, we have been mobile and have met for the past 12 years in homes, coffee shops, college auditoriums, within other American Churches and even in a warehouse. This has allowed us to serve our community, support missions work, and contribute to the planting of other churches inside and outside the USA.
In recent years the Lord has allowed us to grow considerably, to the point that we have had to hold 3 services each weekend for the past 5 years in order to adequately serve our members. It is for this reason that we believe that the time has come for Iglesia Ciudad/City Church to have its own sanctuary and for our congregation to enjoy the benefits of having a permanent residence, without having to abandon our ministry philosophy.
Although we are able to pay a mortgage that allows us to build our own temple, our congregation is made up of low-income immigrants, which has prevented us from raising the $350,000 that the bank requires in order to grant us a loan which would allow us to build a temple and give us a certain level of stability, therefore, allowing us to plan the future of the church.
That is why we are praying for a miracle that will allow us to raise that $350,000 for a down payment and an additional $150,000 recommended for closing costs and other types of remodeling.
We believe that, with the help of the Lord and this foundation, plus the sacrifice and obedience of all of us, Iglesia Ciudad/City Church will be able to start dreaming of its own sanctuary in the City of Jacksonville, FL and be able to continue planting other churches from this central headquarters.

THREE WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
Pray
This is one of the most important things you can do, as no other option can be considered without doing this first.
Tithe
If you are a member of the Church and have not yet put the Lord first in the area of finances, we recommend that you take this important step of faith before participating in this expansion campaign.
Give a Special Offering
This offering will be collected once a month and may be made as a one-time gift or over a period of 18 months.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT KIND OF OFFERING TO GIVE?
Offering of Obedience
This offering comes from the budget we manage on a daily basis and/or is readily available in your savings account or “under the mattress”.
Sacrificial Offering
This offering comes from sacrificing things like putting off buying a new TV, phone, or car, or simply working overtime at work.
Faith Offering
This is when the Lord challenges us to give beyond our own faith, generosity, or urges us to sell something valuable and dear to us and it requires a new measure of faith on our part.
